The Benefits of Traditional Therapy vs. Intuitive Psychic Development

Why They Are Alike and Completely Different

Although traditional talk therapy has been the foundation of counseling work there has been a movement over time toward spiritual guidance. Modalities such as CBT and DBT are well known for evidence based research while EMDR, IFS and other types of therapies are known as "cutting edge" research.

The Cycle of Therapeutic Approaches

The problem with these types of therapies is that they cycle from the well-known and reliable to the "latest and greatest" types of therapies offering even better outcomes for clients. These types of therapies all focus on the goal of healing psychologically and physically but not spiritually. As with any types of therapies some work better than others based on an individual's needs and goals. Until, of course, they are replaced by the next "latest and greatest" type of therapy offering to outperform the last numerous modalities. And the cycle continues, wash and repeat.

What Intuitive Psychic Development Offers

Intuitive psychic development offers is deeper healing and connection to oneself. This is the part of ourselves that are often known but quickly dismissed. Our culture has a way of discounting things they cannot research or replicate in a study. Before you think this means less effective and "woo woo" consider these examples.

Real-Life Examples of Intuition

A person has no evidence but feels strongly about choice or decision they cannot explain. They find out later they avoided a situation that could have been disastrous or dangerous like a car crash, by taking an off ramp or route they would not normally take.

A person loses someone close to them and has dreams and signs in their waking life they cannot explain. They cannot explain it so they reject it as irrational. They continue to receive signs until they come to believe that they can trust what they feel and experience.

A person will be experiencing "dejavu" as they find themselves oddly familiar with a situation, place or circumstances. They begin to realize that this feels the same because they've been in similar situations where a lesson or challenge appeared. They realize they need to trust this as a sign that there is a challenge to overcome.

A person walks in nature and immerses themselves in the environment. They use senses of sight, sound, texture, smell even taste. And then without trying they are in a state of flow where they lose track of time, worries and things they need to do. They are in engaging their sixth sense of experiencing what cannot be quantified, researched or explain. They just know they have "a connection" with nature.

This is called intuition, knowing and sensing things that we cannot explain. They improve or quality of life, joy, feeling of comfort, peace and reassurance. We all have these spiritual, psychic abilities. They are our universal abilities and strengths in all of us called "gifts".

Therapy as a Tool, Not a Cure

Once we realize we have these resources within us to heal and thrive we can look at therapy as a tool to help us instead of endlessly hoping it will cure us. Consider psychic abilities as human abilities we all have and can develop. In other cultures this is known as truth and not pseudo-science. Notice and develop your abilities to guide you toward better decisions, confidence and potential in your life.

Embracing Your Inner Power

Once we know our power this changes everything.
